The school calendar is overflowing with events that develop the students social, moral, spiritual and cultural awareness. From Diwali day for Year 7 to presentation day in Year 9, from St Georges whole school celebrations in April to our careers academy activities, from our School Senate identified charity days and events to our successful activities week in July; students are encouraged explore new skills, work with and develop new friends from all different backgrounds and cultures.
The school assembly programme creates an atmosphere if understanding that further develops our desire to mould our students to be open minded and accepting to all. Historical British events and characters are celebrated; a wide range of British values are identified and researched. Social issues are challenged and student safety and awareness is championed. Assemblies led by both staff and students and this ensures that the programme remains fresh and exciting as well as informative.
