Best Ever A-Level Results

Guilsborough Academy students have achieved the ‘best results ever’ at A level this year. The Academy is delighted that students have achieved an overall pass rate of 99%, with 88% achieving grades A*-C, 57% achieving grades at A*-B and 29% achieving the highest grades of A*-A.

Executive Headteacher Mrs Staley said, "We are thrilled for our students, they have achieved excellent progress and attainment. These results represent extremely hard work on their part. I would like to thank the dedication and support of both staff and parents/carers who have worked alongside the students to achieve such marvellous results. I wish them all every continued success in their future plans.”
A special mention must go to Harriet Cant, Adam Leahy and Amanda Wallace who all achieved 3 A* grades. Also achieving 3 A*/ A grades are: Callum Grasby, Francesca Haynes, Georgia May, Sam Mister, Rachael Shaw and Rosie Staley.

Many students also outperformed their targets and achieved outstanding progress. They deserve extra praise for their dedication to hours of studying- a special mention here goes to: Kate Hoyle, Katie James and Sarah Johnson.
