Welcome to our Guilsborough Academy Sixth Form website. I hope you find the information contained within these pages useful. 

Our Sixth Form is high-performing, with an enviable reputation for delivering a high quality of education which enables our students to successfully move onto the next stages in their education.

With growing numbers in both Year 12 and Year 13, we are able to offer a number of courses which currently includes a broad range of ‘A’-Level subjects as well as BTEC options.  Over the past two years, the vast majority of our students have moved on to Higher Education with over 90% gaining a place on their first choice pathway.

Outstanding Pastoral Care 

We believe in nurturing our students’ individual strengths. We encourage them to explore a wide variety of interests within and beyond the school curriculum. Our Sixth Form team understands the demands on students who are studying for ‘A’-Levels and BTEC qualifications.  Many have years of experience working with post-16 students, supporting them as they prepare for their next steps. 

Students' personal development and happiness are important to us. Consequently, our extensive programme of extra-curricular activities, including excellent Music, Drama and Sports provision, supports this process.  We expect high standards and believe that strong relationships between staff and students support these standards. We offer a strong personal and social education programme to foster considerate and responsible attitudes.
