On Tuesday 28th January, during periods 1 and 2, our school had the distinct pleasure of welcoming Tony Henhall, Alastair Dewar, Amelie Crawford, and Mohamed Kalair, STEM Ambassadors from STEM Learning, into our classrooms. Their visit provided our students with invaluable insights into the diverse and exciting world of STEM careers.
On Monday 27th January 2025, our Year 10 Triple Science students embarked on an inspiring educational journey to the GCSE Science Live! event held at the prestigious Birmingham Symphony Hall. It was an enriching experience that left students buzzing with excitement and a deeper appreciation for the world of science.

On Thursday 19th December, the Guilsborough Academy Performing Arts Christmas Showcase lit up the evening with an unforgettable celebration of talent and festive spirit.
On 12th December 2024, our Year 12 Geography students participated in an exciting and essential fieldwork day in Stratford, London. This trip, a vital part of their A-Level Geography course, allowed students to explore real-world examples of urban change and inequalities, linking directly to their studies in Contemporary Urban Environments and Changing Places.
This week, GCSE and A-Level students had the privilege of attending a Theatre Day Workshop and watching a matinee performance of My Fair Lady. This enriching experience provided them with unique insights into the world of theatre and offered an engaging blend of educational and practical activities.

We are thrilled to announce the winner of the KS3 Christmas Card Competition at Guilsborough Academy!
Year 7 students and PE staff were proud to cheer on rugby legend and charity hero Kevin Sinfield as he passed through Northamptonshire during the local leg of his Running Home for Christmas challenge. Joined by England rugby coach Steve Borthwick, Sinfield’s incredible effort embodies resilience, compassion, and a commitment to making a difference for those affected by Motor Neurone Disease (MND).
