In term 3 , Year 7 Computing will focus on two short modules: Boolean Logic and E-Safety. The Boolean Logic module, consisting of three lessons, will introduce students to the fundamental concepts of logic gates, specifically AND, NOT, and OR gates. Students will learn how these gates function and their applications in computing. The E-Safety module, also spanning three lessons, will explore critical online safety topics, including protecting personal information, understanding the dangers of online gaming, and managing online trolling. Both modules are designed to build foundational knowledge and essential digital skills for safe and effective use of technology. |
