  • Rail Safe Friendly Celebrates Two Years of Promoting Rail Safety

    At Guilsborough Academy, rail safety is an issue close to our hearts, made even more poignant by the memory of Harrison Ballantyne, a much-loved student who tragically lost his life in a railway accident. His passing was a devastating loss, but his memory continues to inspire important conversations about rail safety.

    In honour of Harrison and to help prevent future tragedies, we are proud to support Rail Safe Friendly (RSF) - a programme dedicated to educating young people on how to stay safe around the railway. This month, RSF celebrates its two-year anniversary, marking a significant milestone in its mission to make rail safety education a standard part of every school’s curriculum.
